A PROPOS DE NIL HOPE

Photographer based in Paris specializing in fashion and portraits. Editorials, brand campaigns, catalogs, lookbooks, and social media content... I capture my images with passion. An approach focused on visual storytelling and the human element to create powerful images
BIO

Born in Paris in 1986, I explored graphic arts and cinema before turning to photography. Since 2012, I have collaborated with many brands and magazines. Concerned about the environmental impact, I prioritize collaborations that align with my values.

When I'm not behind the lens, I am most often in the great outdoors, an influence that enriches my work with thoughtfulness and sensitivity.

At the same time, people are at the heart of my work as a photographer. Beyond fashion, what matters to me is revealing beauty in simplicity, whether through a look, a posture or even an emotion captured at the right moment.

This duality between complex storytelling and human simplicity shapes the projects I work on. Ultimately, it's this alchemy that defines my identity as a fashion photographer.

WHAT I DO
EDITORIALS

Based in Paris, I work at the intersection of fashion, narrative, and human expression. Editorial storytelling lies at the heart of my photography. Each image reflecting the social realities and cultural nuances of our times. Fashion, for me, is never isolated; it is part of the ever-evolving present, its trends shaped by the world in motion.

Equally central to my work are the people I photograph. Beyond garments, I seek to capture authentic beauty in simplicity, through a gaze, a gesture, or a fleeting emotion. This balance between complex narrative and human intimacy defines my projects and ultimately shapes my identity as a fashion photographer.

CAMPAIGNS

When shooting brand campaigns, my priority is to capture the soul and identity of each brand through images that communicate on their own. I focus on highlighting the uniqueness and essence of every brand, while pushing their message further through visual storytelling.

My passion lies in crafting campaigns that not only showcase a product or concept but also engage viewers on a deeper level, creating a meaningful intersection between brand, narrative, and human experience.

Collaboration is key. Before the first shot, I establish an in-depth dialogue with clients and production teams to understand both the brand’s specific needs and the message it seeks to convey. This shared understanding allows us to develop a visual concept that resonates with the audience, blending artistic vision with the brand’s goals. The synergy between creativity and strategy forms the foundation of every successful campaign.

CATALOGS AND LOOKBOOKS

Catalogs and lookbooks are a distinct part of my photography, demanding meticulous attention to detail, consistency, and storytelling. My work transforms collections into a cohesive visual narrative, balancing creativity with clarity to showcase each piece’s essence.

These projects are designed to inspire and inform, helping buyers and consumers quickly grasp the vision behind a collection. Collaboration is essential—through clear communication and shared objectives, we ensure every page is not only visually compelling but also effective in conveying the brand’s message. Each image contributes to a larger story, building a unified chapter that reflects both the collection and the brand identity.

SOCIAL MEDIA

In today’s digital landscape, relevance and consistency are key. Every image and video I create is designed not only to capture attention but also to spark interaction, sharing, and lasting impressions. A balance of aesthetic quality and strategic thinking ensures that social content does more than fill feeds. It builds a strong, recognizable identity.

Collaborating with artists, musicians, and public figures is a unique creative journey. Beyond visuals, the focus is on telling their story authentically, producing content that resonates with audiences and creates meaningful emotional connections.

ECOMMERCE

In online commerce, visuals are everything, often serving as the only point of contact between a product and its future owner. Each image or video acts as a bridge, connecting the item to the consumer. Every detail, from lighting to composition and staging, is carefully considered to ensure that the visuals faithfully represent the collection while integrating seamlessly with the brand’s broader communication.

Close collaboration with clients ensures a deep understanding of each project’s objectives. The result is visual content that showcases products with precision, enhances conversion rates, and strengthens customer loyalty.

PRE-PRODUCTION

The success of a visual project relies not only on the talent of the photographer or videographer, but also on careful preparation. Pre-production covers everything from the initial concept to coordinating the elements that ensure the project’s success. With the support of top production houses and specialized service providers, every detail is refined.

This phase includes creative planning to define the tone and message, casting models, and organizing a full team of professionals, including stylists, hair and makeup artists, camera operators, and editors. Choosing the right locations, whether studios or outdoor sites, is also essential.

Attention to detail in pre-production guarantees that the client’s vision aligns with the final result, delivering a production that meets the project’s ambitions.

PRODUCTION

The stage where the vision comes to life. With meticulous preparation, the project moves into execution, where every element finds its place. Using state-of-the-art equipment and a carefully chosen team, each shot respects the original vision.

Beyond technical aspects, production focuses on a shared artistic sensibility, capturing not just the visuals but also the emotion and mood of the moment.

Collaboration with the client continues throughout, ensuring the project stays aligned with its objectives while allowing creative adjustments in real time. Every production is tailored to the needs and resources of the project.

POST-PRODUCTION

Every detail is fine-tuned to achieve the customer's initial vision. We collaborate with highly qualified service providers such as digital operators, retouchers, editors, and colorists to refine and enhance the final product, whether photography or video.

Close collaboration ensures every visual and audio element is handled with care. From color correction to subtle retouching, editing, and color grading, each step enhances the work without altering its essence.

The customer remains involved throughout, with regular communication allowing adjustments that stay perfectly aligned with the project's original objectives. This level of precision and collaboration guarantees a finished product of the highest quality, meeting even the most demanding expectations.
